Ramadan Iftar Operation 1447-2026: 150,000 Ftour Meals Distributed under Royal Instructions

In execution of the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Guard is carrying out, as it does every year during the holy month of Ramadan 1447, the preparation and distribution of 150,000 Ftour meals offered by the Sovereign for the benefit of needy families in several cities across the Kingdom.

This humanitarian operation is conducted in coordination with representatives of local authorities at the various distribution points, according to a statement from the Royal Guard.

In Rabat, the initiative targets the neighborhoods of Dar Es-Salam, Touargas, and Souissi, as well as the Moulay Abdellah Oncology Hospital and Avicenna Children’s Hospital. In the Salé Prefecture, distributions will take place in Kariat Oulad Moussa, Hay Essalam, and Maamoura.

The operation will also benefit needy families in the Tanger Prefecture (Charf neighborhood), the Tetouan Province (Hafat Rkina), the Marrakech Prefecture (Mechouar), and the Khémisset Province (N’khilat Center under the Commune of Rommani).

Furthermore, this year, His Majesty the King has ensured that the scope of this solidarity initiative is extended to the city of Ksar El-Kebir, in favor of populations affected by recent floods in the region. In this context, 30,000 Ftour meals will be prepared and distributed by the Royal Guard during the holy month for the benefit of the flood-affected families, particularly in the BelAbbas and Lamzouri neighborhoods.

This initiative reflects the High Royal Care for the most vulnerable social groups and embodies the values of solidarity and mutual support that characterize the blessed month of Ramadan.
