AMMC and CSPJ Hold First Exchange Meeting

A first exchange meeting brought together the Higher Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) and the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) in Rabat last Wednesday, as part of the framework agreement on partnership and cooperation signed between the two institutions on May 20, 2026.

Strengthened Cooperation Framework

Through this partnership, the AMMC and the CSPJ aim to build bridges of cooperation and establish a framework conducive to dialogue, the sharing of expertise and the strengthening of their respective capacities, the two institutions said in a joint statement.

Faced with the growing interconnection of markets, the evolution and diversification of financial products, their accessibility to a wider audience and the emergence of multidimensional threats, this cooperation seeks to foster a coordinated and agile response between judicial authorities and regulators.

Judges and Regulators Gathered

More than thirty judges from different regions of the Kingdom took part in this first meeting, alongside representatives of the CSPJ and AMMC officials.

Included in the exchange cycle provided for under the agreement, the session addressed the regulation and functioning of the capital market, the missions of the CSPJ, the Kingdom’s judicial organization and criminal policy regarding market offences.

Securing Investments

By combining their expertise, the two institutions seek to strengthen the legal and regulatory security of investments, improve the transparency of the capital market and protect economic and financial public order.
