Morocco and Gabon are strengthening their cooperation in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI), with the aim of developing new opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.
This was highlighted during a working meeting held in Rabat between the Moroccan Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform and the Gabonese Minister of Digital Economy, Digitalization and Innovation.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in digital transformation, AI, and the development of digital skills. Both sides emphasized their shared ambition to accelerate the modernization of public services through digital tools and to promote innovation-driven growth.
The Gabonese delegation expressed strong interest in benefiting from Morocco’s experience in digital transformation and artificial intelligence. In this regard, Gabon aims to deepen its cooperation with Morocco in order to support the development of its national digital ecosystem.
For its part, Morocco reaffirmed its commitment to supporting African partners through knowledge sharing, capacity building, and joint initiatives in strategic technological sectors.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to continue coordination in order to translate this partnership into concrete projects that will benefit both countries, particularly in terms of youth employment, innovation, and digital development.
