The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received in Rabat the President of the Senate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, acting as a special envoy of President Félix Tshisekedi.
During the meeting, the envoy delivered a message addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, highlighting the strong diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In a statement to the press after the meeting, the Congolese official emphasized the historical ties between Morocco and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, praising Morocco’s continued support.
He also highlighted Morocco’s active role as a key player in Africa, noting that the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss several issues of mutual interest.
This visit reflects the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across various fields.
