Tangier Leads… Morocco Rainfall Report

Over the past 24 hours, from 6 AM February 2 to 6 AM February 3, Morocco has seen varying rainfall levels, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology. Tangier tops the list with 81 mm, followed by Kenitra 54 mm, Fnideq 47 mm, Chefchaouen 44 mm, and Asilah, Ksar El-Kebir, Tangier Port 42 mm.

Northern and central regions received between 29 and 33 mm, including Larache, Ouezzane, M’diq, Tétouan, while Martil, Ouezzane, Ifrane, Salé recorded 24–27 mm. Central and southern areas saw moderate rainfall: Casablanca and Béni Mellal 19 mm, Rabat 15 mm, and cities like Fes, Marrakech, Essaouira between 10 and 13 mm.

Southern regions were drier, with Agadir 5 mm, Tiznit and Al Hoceima 4 mm, Sidi Ifni and Inzegan 3 mm, and Tantan 2 mm, Taroudant 1 mm. Rainfall continues to impact the northern and central parts of the country, showing notable regional disparities.
