On the sidelines of GITEX Africa Morocco 2026, held in Marrakech from April 7 to 9, 2026, Barid Al-Maghrib and the Digital Development Agency (ADD) signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at strengthening their collaboration in the field of digitalization.
The agreement was signed by Amin Ibn Jelloun Touimi, CEO of Barid Al-Maghrib, and Amin Mezouaghi, Director General of the Digital Development Agency.
According to the official statement, the agreement reflects the two institutions’ firm commitment to serving citizens and aims to establish a robust, inclusive, and sustainable digital ecosystem for the benefit of the Kingdom.
The partnership seeks to unite the expertise and resources of both institutions to accelerate the pace of digital transformation and promote the emergence of an inclusive digital society.
Priority areas outlined under the agreement include expanding digital services, particularly digital trust services and e-government, developing digital skills, supporting businesses in their digital transition, and strengthening innovation ecosystems in the digital domain.
Through this initiative, Barid Al-Maghrib and the Digital Development Agency reaffirm their shared commitment to making digitalization a key driver for modernizing public services, enhancing economic competitiveness, and achieving digital and social inclusion.
