The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that the first day of Dhul Hijja 1447 AH corresponds to Monday, May 18, 2026 in Morocco.
In a statement, the Ministry specified that Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, corresponding to the 10th of Dhul Hijja 1447 AH.
May God grant His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, His blessings, grace and mercy, and may He renew this blessed occasion for the Sovereign in glory and prosperity. May the Almighty also preserve His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of the Royal Family, and grant further progress and prosperity to the Moroccan people and the Islamic Ummah.
