L’Oréal Morocco: Gilles Delaunay Takes General Management, Laila Benjelloun Touimi Assumes Chairmanship

L’Oréal Morocco announced on Thursday two new appointments within its management, with the designation of Gilles Delaunay as Managing Director of the Moroccan subsidiary and Laila Benjelloun Touimi as Chairwoman.

These two appointments take effect on October 1, 2026, and are part of an evolution in L’Oréal Morocco’s governance, reaffirming the group’s long-standing commitment to the Kingdom.

Gilles Delaunay will lead the subsidiary’s operations as Managing Director, overseeing the development of L’Oréal Morocco’s activities.

With 27 years of experience within L’Oréal France and internationally, including over 20 years within the Consumer Products Division, Delaunay brings solid expertise to drive the Moroccan subsidiary’s strategy.

As Chairwoman, Laila Benjelloun Touimi will contribute to strengthening L’Oréal Morocco’s institutional presence and its relationships with Moroccan stakeholders, while supporting the activities of the L’Oréal Foundation in the country.

This reorganization of L’Oréal Morocco’s management comes in a context of continued growth for the group in the Moroccan market, where it has maintained a presence for several decades.

The new governance aims to consolidate L’Oréal Morocco’s positions and support the development of its activities in the cosmetics, professional products, and consumer products segments.
