The House of Councillors closed, on Tuesday, the first session of the 2025–2026 legislative year of the 11th legislature (2021–2026).
On this occasion, the Speaker of the House, Mohamed Ould Errachid, reviewed the main achievements of the institution during the session, covering legislative work, oversight, evaluation of public policies and institutional relations. He also highlighted the tangible outcomes of parliamentary diplomacy, which contributed to strengthening Morocco’s position at the regional and international levels and to defending its just national causes.
He noted that the House adopted 17 bills during 12 legislative sittings, including organic and ordinary laws of priority public interest, as well as bills submitted under Article 78 of the Constitution.
