Local authorities in Ksar El Kébir began distributing basic food baskets on Sunday evening to residents returning home after weather conditions improved.  

This initiative is part of the integrated plan implemented by the Larache province to ensure a safe and gradual return starting February 15, providing secure transport, safe routes, and on-site supervision.

The aid includes milk, oil, sugar, flour, rice, and tea, packed in special bags and delivered via trucks and vehicles to targeted neighborhoods. In the Assalam district, distribution was carried out directly to households using vehicles adapted to narrow streets.

Residents expressed their gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his concern for those affected by exceptional weather conditions. The operation reflects the proactive and organized response of authorities to meet the essential needs of citizens.

This effort continues the public authorities’ mobilization during evacuation, sheltering, and the safe return of citizens to their homes.
