The Belgian airline TUI fly has announced the launch of a new direct route connecting Casablanca to Barcelona for the 2026 summer season. The service will operate from July 2 to August 31, 2026, with a possible extension until September 7 depending on demand.
With this new route, TUI fly marks its return to the Spanish market, banking on strong travel demand between Morocco and Spain during the summer period. The route will be operated twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, offering greater flexibility for travelers.
The airline aims to strengthen connectivity between the two shores of the Mediterranean, targeting tourists, business travelers, and families alike. This service also meets the needs of the Moroccan community established in Spain, particularly in Catalonia, which sees significant travel flows during the summer.
TUI fly has stated that the continuation of the Casablanca–Barcelona route beyond the 2026 summer season will depend on market response and load factors recorded during this initial phase of operation.
