Allianz Trade has announced the appointment of Francis Jespers as the new Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Trade in Morocco, effective March 1, 2026. He succeeds Stéphane Rutili, who retired after a distinguished career with the Group.
With over 30 years of international experience at Allianz Trade, Francis Jespers most recently served as Program Director for the Northern Europe region. Since joining the company in 1990 as a Sales Account Manager, he has held several strategic leadership positions across Europe, including CEO roles in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Known for his leadership and ability to drive transformation, Jespers has built a strong track record in commercial performance optimization, governance strengthening, and managing multicultural teams in complex environments.
A graduate with a Master’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Louvain, he is fluent in Dutch, French, English, and German. Based in Casablanca, he will report directly to Luca Burrafato, CEO of Allianz Trade for the MMEA region.
Luca Burrafato welcomed Jespers’ appointment, highlighting his deep understanding of the company, international leadership experience, and strong record in driving change — qualities that make him well‑suited to lead Allianz Trade’s operations in Morocco and strengthen its regional presence. The statement also expressed gratitude to Stéphane Rutili for his contribution and wished him a happy retirement.
