Chinese automotive technology company Ingin Auto Technology, specialized in intelligent vehicle closure systems, is preparing its first industrial expansion outside China by investing in Morocco.
Through its local subsidiary Ingin Intelligent Morocco, the group plans to build a manufacturing plant dedicated to electric and smart trunk systems within Mohammed VI Tangier Tech City, a fast-growing industrial hub in northern Morocco. The project is part of Ingin’s strategy to serve European and regional automotive markets.
Thanks to Tangier’s strategic location and strong automotive ecosystem, the investment is expected to strengthen Morocco’s position as a key platform for automotive manufacturing, smart mobility, and advanced technologies, further reinforcing the country’s attractiveness to foreign investors.
