In a global context marked by the rapid rise of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector, ABA Technology has announced the launch of its international program “Fusion AI for the Future of Health,” an ambitious initiative aimed at supporting universities in transforming medical education, hospital systems, and life sciences research.
An initial deployment has been carried out at the University of Évora in Portugal, marking the starting point of an international expansion strategy. This inaugural partnership reflects the program’s intention to firmly embed itself within academic institutions to train the healthcare professionals of tomorrow.
Three pillars to transform healthcare
The program is built around a structured approach based on three strategic pillars:
The first focuses on training AI-augmented physicians. The goal is to integrate artificial intelligence at the core of medical curricula in order to train a new generation of practitioners who are not only capable of using these technologies, but also of supervising and designing them. The second pillar aims to create smart hospitals through the development of solutions that optimize care pathways, improve patient management, and support healthcare professionals via intelligent workflows and medical agents. Beyond its three pillars, “Fusion AI for the Future of Health” stands out through a comprehensive approach combining academic training, technological innovation, and operational deployment. The program includes curricula blending medicine and AI engineering, an AI Lab for Sovereign Health dedicated to developing clinical use cases, as well as advanced solutions for biomedical research.
This integration goes beyond theory to foster the emergence of concrete solutions that can be directly deployed in healthcare systems.
