Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa represented the Kingdom of Morocco at the Fostering the Future Together summit of the Global Coalition for Children, held at the White House in Washington on the invitation of Mrs. Melania Trump, First Lady of the United States of America.

The “Fostering the Future Together” initiative aims to improve the well‑being of children and promote their empowerment in the digital age through education, innovation and technology.

The summit began with a welcome message delivered by a humanoid, followed by remarks from Mrs. Melania Trump, who highlighted that in a world rapidly transformed by advances such as artificial intelligence, the mission of the new Coalition is to equip children with the tools they need through technology and education. She urged all countries and partner institutions to take concrete actions following the inaugural summit.

Mrs. Trump advocated for regional meetings, collaboration with the private sector, easier access to technology for vulnerable groups, innovative legislation to protect children, and strengthened cooperation among member countries.

In her address, Princess Lalla Hasnaa stated that the Kingdom of Morocco applauds the visionary leadership of the First Lady of the United States for launching this important coalition. She emphasized that Morocco is honored to participate in a coalition reflecting a shared global vision.

“Preparing our children for the digital age is not only a national duty but a shared global responsibility,” Her Royal Highness said, adding that “we must act together now, otherwise the gap between those benefiting from technology and those left behind will only widen.”

Princess Lalla Hasnaa further stressed that technology should promote empowerment and reduce inequalities, rather than exacerbate them.

She also noted that under the Fostering the Future Together coalition, Morocco is committed to expanding and strengthening its national digital protection platforms, and to advancing national programs for digital literacy and inclusion.

In addition, the Princess affirmed that Morocco is ready to share best practices and its experience in child digital protection with partners across Africa to foster collective learning and strengthen international cooperation.

The summit featured speeches by prominent figures including Mrs. Brigitte Macron (France), Her Highness Sheikha Alyazia bint Saif Al Nahyan (United Arab Emirates), Mrs. Marta Nawrocka (Poland), Mrs. Maricel Cohen de Mulino (Panama), Dr. Fatima Maada (Sierra Leone) and H.E. Gertrude Mutharika (Malawi).

At the end of the high‑level meeting, Princess Lalla Hasnaa posed for a commemorative photograph with the First Lady of the United States and took part in a group photo with attending heads of delegation.

Her Royal Highness then attended a reception hosted by Mrs. Melania Trump at the White House in honor of the invited dignitaries.

The Fostering the Future Together summit, attended by representatives from around forty countries and several leading U.S. technology companies, provided an opportunity to present national commitments and launch formal cooperation within the framework of the Coalition.
