Sage Kicks Off a New Stop in Casablanca as Part of Its “Sage Africa Tour” to Support Business Digitalization

Sage, a global leader in business management solutions, hosted the Moroccan leg of its “Sage Africa Tour” on Tuesday at the Studio des Arts Vivants in Casablanca. The initiative aims to bring digital technologies closer to businesses and facilitate their digital transformation, attracting nearly 600 participants including executives, tech decision-makers, and Sage clients and users.

According to Abdellah Marrakchi, General Manager of Sage Morocco, the event’s goal was to provide Moroccan businesses with a concrete, actionable approach to technologies shaping their daily operations. “By connecting innovation with real-world use, we demonstrate that digitalization is not a distant challenge but an opportunity immediately within reach,” he explained.

The event highlighted Sage’s investments in artificial intelligence. Unlike general-purpose generative models, which can produce content with errors, Sage develops AI specifically for business management. This technology relies on five specialized language models designed to secure financial operations while complying with accounting, tax, and financial regulations. It aims to help finance departments, SMEs, and large companies modernize their processes.

Participants also explored upcoming regulatory changes in Morocco, particularly the electronic invoicing reform set to take effect in 2026. Sage emphasized its commitment to supporting Moroccan businesses through solutions that simplify compliance while automating invoicing and financial data processing.

The Sage Africa Tour is distinguished by its immersive format, making complex concepts—cloud computing, AI, data management, and electronic invoicing—accessible and operational. Demonstrations and real-world case studies allowed participants to see tangible benefits in productivity, compliance, and business oversight.

This Moroccan edition underlines the country’s central role in Africa’s digitalization journey. As local businesses accelerate their shift toward agile, data-driven models, Sage positions itself as a technology partner capable of supporting this transition with tailored solutions aligned with operational and regulatory needs.
