Morocco strengthens its reputation as a top European tourist destination. The National Moroccan Tourist Office has received two major awards in Spain, recognizing the effectiveness and relevance of its strategy with travel industry professionals.
The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) named Morocco the “International Destination of the Year 2025,” awarded to Achraf Fayda, ONMT Director General. The recognition highlights the sustained efforts to promote, communicate, and structure Morocco’s tourism offerings to key Spanish agencies and tour operators.
Simultaneously, the Andalusian Federation of Travel Agencies (FAAV) recognized Morocco as the “Preferred International Destination” for Andalusian agencies, confirming the Kingdom’s growing appeal in this strategic regional market. Coupled with enhanced air and sea connectivity, these awards cement Morocco’s status as a reliable, high-performing, and sustainable destination.
