Throne Day: HM King Mohammed VI to Address the Nation in Royal Speech on Wednesday Evening

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, will deliver a Speech to His faithful people on Wednesday evening on the occasion of the commemoration of the 27th anniversary of His accession to the Throne of His Glorious Ancestors, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry said that the Royal Speech will be broadcast on radio and television channels on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, starting at 9:00 p.m.

The address comes as part of the celebrations marking Throne Day, an annual national occasion commemorating the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Throne and reflecting the continuity of the Moroccan Monarchy and the strong bond between the Sovereign and the Moroccan people.

The Royal Speech represents a major moment in the country’s national life, during which the King addresses citizens on key national issues, strategic orientations, and Morocco’s development priorities.

The 27th anniversary of the King’s accession to the Throne takes place amid the continued implementation of major structural projects across economic, social, and diplomatic fields.

The Royal Speech will be broadcast on Wednesday evening at 9:00 p.m. on national radio and television channels.
