His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, will chair, on Friday, October 9, 2026, corresponding to 27 Rabi’ II 1448 of the Hegira, the opening of the first session of the first legislative year of the 12th Legislature at the seat of Parliament.
The announcement was made by the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery in a statement issued on Thursday.
On this occasion, the Sovereign will deliver a Speech before members of both Houses of Parliament: the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors.
The Royal Speech will be broadcast live on radio and television from 3:45 p.m.
