OCP Nutricrops: Faris Derrij Appointed CEO, El Bari Reassigned

The OCP Group is continuing its strategic reshuffling with a series of leadership changes at its subsidiary OCP Nutricrops.

Faris Derrij has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of OCP Nutricrops, the group’s key entity specializing in soil and plant nutrition solutions. The move underscores OCP’s commitment to addressing global food security challenges through innovation and tailored agronomic solutions.

Youssef El Bari, who has held the CEO position since October 2024, has been reassigned to other roles within the group. A graduate of École Polytechnique, El Bari brings extensive experience in industry and innovation, having led the InnovX accelerator and held several strategic positions across OCP.

The reorganization is part of a broader transformation aimed at strengthening OCP’s innovation capabilities, adapting to international agricultural markets, and promoting sustainable development. As a subsidiary focused on phosphate fertilizers and customized agronomic solutions, OCP Nutricrops remains central to the Moroccan group’s ambition to consolidate its global leadership in the fertilizer sector.
