Daosheng Tianhe: Nador Attracts a New Strategic Chinese Industrial Investment

Daosheng Tianhe’s investment in Nador illustrates a new generation of Chinese industrial projects in Morocco. With a plant producing epoxy resins used notably in the wind-energy industry, the project brings together industrial production, the energy transition and exports to international markets.

Chinese manufacturer Daosheng Tianhe has begun construction of its first plant outside China in Nador. The project, valued at approximately $30 million, is expected to supply materials to manufacturers of wind-turbine blades operating in the region.

The strategic importance of the project goes beyond its financial value. It contributes to the development of an industrial ecosystem around renewable energy and strengthens the industrial vocation of Morocco’s Oriental region.

The choice of Nador reflects a strategy based on proximity to port infrastructure and European markets. The region could therefore become a key link between Asian investment, Moroccan industrial resources and European demand.

Nador, the New Frontier of Industrial Investment

For investors, this dynamic creates opportunities in industrial chemicals, advanced materials, logistics, maintenance, engineering and industrial services.

It also sends an important signal to African entrepreneurs: the development of Nador West Med could gradually strengthen northeastern Morocco’s capacity to host projects targeting both European and African markets.
