Casablanca Stock Exchange: T2S Listing Draws More Than 111,000 Investors

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of T2S generated exceptional interest among investors, with the offering oversubscribed 43.75 times by 111,149 investors, representing a satisfaction rate of 2.29%, said Monday in Casablanca Nasser Seddiqi, Director General of the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

“T2S’s IPO is very good news for all capital market stakeholders. More than 110,000 investors wanted to become shareholders of T2S, while demand exceeded the number of shares offered by more than 43 times,” said Seddiqi during the company’s first trading ceremony.

A Major Milestone for Morocco’s Capital Market

The first listing ceremony was held in the presence of several key figures, including Brahim Benjelloun Touimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, Abderraouf Sordo, Chief Executive Officer of T2S, as well as several business leaders and financial market representatives.

The listing marks an important step in T2S’s development and reflects the growing attractiveness of Morocco’s financial market for both institutional and individual investors.

Record Subscription Demand Exceeding MAD 48 Billion

The subscription amount reached more than MAD 48.12 billion, corresponding to a total demand of 215,814,160 shares.

With demand significantly exceeding the number of shares available, T2S’s IPO confirms investors’ growing appetite for Moroccan companies seeking access to the stock market and new opportunities for expansion.

A Positive Signal for the Casablanca Stock Exchange

T2S’s market debut comes amid efforts to strengthen the role of Morocco’s capital markets as a key driver of corporate financing and investment.
