RINA Chooses Casablanca to Accelerate African Expansion

Italian group RINA has established RINA Morocco SARL in Casablanca, its first Moroccan-law entity, to support major projects in green hydrogen, infrastructure, ports, mobility, logistics and industry.

RINA is strengthening its presence in Morocco through the creation of RINA Morocco SARL, as part of its “RINA for Africa” strategy. The new entity is expected to position Morocco as a regional platform for engineering, certification and technical advisory services.

The group is targeting major investment programmes currently underway in Morocco, particularly in green hydrogen, port infrastructure, mobility, logistics, industry and energy.

Casablanca was selected for its growing role as an industrial and logistics hub connecting Europe and Africa. RINA brings international expertise in maritime classification, engineering, certification, inspection and technical consulting.

The new subsidiary will enable the group to work more directly with Moroccan project owners and international investors. Green hydrogen represents a major potential market for engineering, certification and inspection services, while the port sector offers opportunities linked to Tanger Med, Nador West Med and expanding logistics platforms.

Automotive, aerospace, energy and manufacturing are also expected to provide additional growth opportunities. RINA intends to use Casablanca as a strategic base for its broader expansion across Africa.
