Morocco Stitch & Tex 2026: a strategic milestone to accelerate the integration and competitiveness of the Moroccan textile industry

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Morocco Stitch & Tex 2026 exhibition will take place from June 23 to 25, 2026, at the Casablanca International Fairgrounds (formerly OFEC), situated opposite the landmark Hassan II Mosque, in strategic partnership with the Moroccan Association of Textile and Apparel Industries (AMITH).

As Morocco continues to solidify its position among the most competitive industrial hubs in the Euro-Mediterranean region, Morocco Stitch & Tex stands out as an indispensable gathering for stakeholders committed to the transformation and upgrading of the national textile industry.

Bringing together a premier assembly of industrialists, investors, technology providers, international buyers, and institutional leaders, this 19th edition aims to foster synergies, stimulate productive investment, and support the adoption of cutting-edge innovations that are shaping the future of the sector.

As a historic pillar of the Moroccan economy, the textile and apparel sector currently encompasses over 1,600 companies and provides nearly 200,000 jobs, contributing significantly to the Kingdom’s exports, particularly to European markets. This dynamic growth opens up new prospects while simultaneously highlighting a major strategic imperative: the strengthening of local industrial integration.

Indeed, despite the remarkable performance recorded by the sector, several key segments remain heavily reliant on imports—most notably in threads, fabrics, technical textiles, as well as industrial machinery and equipment. Accelerating the development of the upstream textile supply chain thus emerges as a crucial lever to reinforce the Kingdom’s industrial sovereignty, elevate local value addition, and consolidate the global competitiveness of the “Made in Morocco” brand.

It is within this framework that Morocco Stitch & Tex 2026 intends to fully embrace its role as a pivotal connecting platform between international technological offerings and the specific needs of the national industry. The exhibition will provide professionals with a prime opportunity to discover the latest sectoral advancements, identify strategic partners, and explore innovative solutions capable of driving the modernization of their production facilities.

Held in parallel with the Morocco Print Expo, this edition will host over 120 exhibitors from eight countries and is projected to attract more than 5,000 professional visitors. This impressive turnout confirms its status as a premier regional crossroads for trade, innovation, and industrial development.

Beyond its commercial dimension, Morocco Stitch & Tex strives to be a true catalyst for growth in service of a shared ambition: fostering a Moroccan textile industry that is more integrated, more resilient, and an even greater driver of value creation for the national economy. Organized by Deals Fairs, Global Fairs & Events, and Vision Fairs, Morocco Stitch & Tex 2026 is part of a broader momentum aimed at supporting the Kingdom’s industrial advancement and enhancing its appeal as a leading regional hub for production, innovation, and investment.
