Morocco’s political and institutional stability continues to strengthen its position on the international stage. According to Paolo von Schirach, President of the Washington-based American think tank Global Policy Institute, this stability is a major strategic asset that enhances the Kingdom’s appeal to investors and leading global companies.
In a statement to MAP, the American expert said that the speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Nation on the occasion of the Throne Day celebrations rightly highlighted political and institutional stability as Morocco’s key strategic advantage, particularly in a regional and global environment marked by multiple crises and geopolitical tensions.
Paolo von Schirach described this stability as a significant national asset, making Morocco “a haven of calm, peace, and common sense” in an increasingly uncertain world. He stressed that, under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Kingdom has successfully fostered a business-friendly environment and established itself as a preferred destination for foreign investment.
The expert also pointed to Morocco’s economic achievements across several strategic sectors, including the automotive and aerospace industries, as well as notable progress in infrastructure, tourism, renewable energy, and manufacturing.
These accomplishments, he noted, reinforce Morocco’s reputation as a stable, competitive, and reliable economic partner, capable of attracting international investors and supporting sustainable economic and social development.
